What are inlays?
Inlays are fixed inlay fillings that are inserted precisely into previously prepared tooth surfaces and permanently attached there. They are more robust and durable than conventional fillings and are usually used in the posterior region.
How much do inlays cost?
The cost of inlays depends, among other things, on the material used. Inlays are a private service and statutory health insurance companies do not cover the costs. Health insurance companies only grant a subsidy that is based on fillings that are considered standard care.
How are inlays made?
After the tooth has been taken, inlays can be produced in a pressing/milling process or in a casting process. Ceramic inlays in particular are almost indistinguishable from natural teeth. Our dental experts ensure the highest fit and perfect appearance.
